The 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship was announced today and the California Golden Bears will play in the tournament for the first time since 2015. The other Pac-12 teams that made the cut were Arizona State, Oregon State, Stanfurd, and UC Los Angeles.

Cal received one of 33 at-large bids to make the field of 64 teams. The Regionals are split into 16 four-team brackets; Cal earned a two seed in our bracket (which includes #1 Arkansas, #3 TCU, and #4 Central Connecticut). After two rounds of play in this NCAA Tournament, eight teams will advance to the College World Series.

In a rematch of the Cheez-I(n)t Bowl, Cal will start play against TCU on Friday at 4 p.m. Pacific on ESPN3.
