Cal Inside Linebacker Evan Weaver has been named on the Lott IMPACT Award Watchlist for his upcoming senior season. The list consisted of 42 players: 18 linebackers, 11 defensive linemen and 13 defensive backs. Weaver is one of 8 Pac-12 players on the list.
The Bears have had a winner of the award. Defensive back Dante Hughes won the honor back in 2006.
