The transfers out of Berkeley keep on coming, with this one in the form of a grad transfer.
(But no—this does not mean I have any interest in quantitatively evaluating player worth to determine if grad transfers are net positive or negative for the California Golden Bears.)

Klumph spent his freshman year at Golden West College, redshirted at Cal in 2015, and punted for us in 2016 and 2017; his career average of 44.2 yards per punt is the very best in Cal history.

The only punter on our 2018 roster is Steven Coutts, who booted for the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns in 2015 and 2016. Coutts then grad-transferred to Cal and punted in two games for the Bears in 2017. Someone (else) can do the math on our punting-grad-transfers and tell me what 1 Coutts – 1 Klumph is equal to.
Unfortunately, this all means that Klumph will be on the other sideline when we visit Tucson on October 6, 2018. Hopefully we’ll be seeing him a lot on that Saturday.
Good luck to Dylan and thanks for your three years in Berkeley!
