Cal 35, North Carolina 30 video highlights!

Plenty of heroes on Saturday.

Here are the full highlights of the California Golden Bears beating the North Carolina Tar Heels in Chapel Hill!

Let’s run through the scoring plays real quickly.

Jordan Veasy got Cal on the board early to put the Bears up 7-0, as Ross Bowers threw his first touchdown pass in his first start as a Golden Bear. Just don’t look too closely to determine if this was a touchdown or not (highly dubious at best!).

With Cal in deep danger of falling into a big hole early, Bowers came up with a huge play after a personal foul, airing it out and finding Vic Wharton for the score.

Take a look at the pressure Bowers got swallowed up in to deliver that touchdown!

Running back Patrick Laird had been a walk-on for most of his time with the Bears. He ended up on Saturday with one of the most spectacular catch-and-runs in Golden Bear history, running by North Carolina tacklers to help put Cal back in the lead.

Take a look at that downfield blocking by Veasy!

On a crucial 4th down

Bowers then found Jordan Duncan on the go-ahead drive in the 4th quarter, putting Cal in the lead.

Vic Enwere came up with the big runs late to seal the game, with a short touchdown with two minutes left to put the Bears up two scores (video of his touchdown is above in the YouTube full highlights).

Congrats to the Bears!
