With the Bears trailing, Hardy Nickerson got the Bears the football back after picking up a fumble by Brett Hundley.
Jared Goff would convert a 3rd and long to Bryce Treggs that would set up a 1st and goal and a Daniel Lasco touchdown to tie things up.
Nickerson would force the second UCLA fumble that Cedric Dozier recovered, and would do it while his dad was being interviewed on TV! Serendipitous.
Then Chris Harper managed an incredible catch.
After the Cal defense stepped up with a quick stop, the Bears were quick to respond with a huge strike downfield by Jared Goff to Kenny Lawler. That would set up another Lasco touchdown.
Cal would then conduct their most successful drive of the game, capped off by an incredible Goff scramble and a Trevor Davis touchdown catch.

With UCLA trying to salt the game away, Cameron Walker made a huge pick on Hundley that gave Cal a chance to retake the lead.
