Welp, this isn't exactly a must-win for our Golden Bears, but it wouldn't be so great for Cal to start the season 4-1 and see it unravel in a three game losing streak heading into November. Cal will play UCLA in the Joe Roth Game and try and ensure that they'll only need one win down the stretch to earn their bowl game.
Also, it'd be nice to beat a California team again. Cal went 0-3 against our rivals last season and has won two of their last 12 matchups over the past four seasons. It's time to reverse the trend.
