There are so many great plays from this game. Thankfully ESPN provides us with copies of all of them (if you're having trouble viewing the videos, click here)!
Luke Rubenzer surprised a lot of us by coming out on the first drives by sharing snaps with Jared Goff on the first drive, pretty much operating as mini-Timmy Tebow with designed runs.
Goff started off the scoring by finding Bryce Treggs for the rollout on an awesome 4th down call.
Then the Cal defense stopped Northwestern on 4th down. There is actual physical record of this occurring.
Jared Football then showed off his scramble ability, with a spectacular throw downfield to find Darius Powe (We also have our Vine!).
Goff polished off the drive with another throw into traffic, where Kenny Lawler grabbed it to put the Bears up 14-0.
The Cal defense then stepped up with a turnover (I'd forgotten what these mystical things are like.) forced by Griffin Piatt!
After Northwestern seemingly put themselves right back in it with a touchdown catch-and-go, Goff decided to show off his new secret weapon, deep bombing six to Trevor Davis (Vine available too!).
Khalfani Muhammad would get Cal's final touchdown of the game, punching it in to make it 31-7 after an eleven play drive and seemingly put the Bears in a strong position to capture the win.
But the Wildcats rallied with 17 unanswered points to cut it to a touchdown. With Northwestern driving to tie the game, Jalen Jefferson would make a pair of huge, incredible plays to seal the game. First he'd get a sack on Trevor Siemian to put Northwestern in 3rd and long...
And on the next play he'd get an interception off a Michael Barton tip to seal it.
This made Pat Fitzgerald sad.
