The California Golden Bears now turn their attention to the Ohio State Buckeyes, and there are some big injury updates from this week's game.
The big one concerns quarterback Braxton Miller, who left the Ohio State game early against San Diego State with a leg injury. It was later confirmed to be an MCL sprain.
Will the Heisman Trophy hopeful return to play at Strawberry Canyon next week?

Kenny Guiton said that he expects Braxton Miller to return for Ohio State's game against Cal next week.

Of course, Ohio State being Ohio State, their backup seems just if not more qualified. Kenny Guiton completed 67.8% of his passes for 152 yards, threw two touchdowns, and also rushed for 83 yards and another touchdown. Watch all of his highlights here in GIF form.
So it seems like the Buckeyes are in good hands with whatever quarterback they end up rolling with next week, particularly with the struggles the Cal defense has had the first two weekends of the season.
Defensive end Adolphus Washington also had a groin injury and is day-to-day.
