With the retirement of OL coach Steve Greatwood, Head Coach Justin Wilcox needed to fill two assistant positions along with the vacant offensive coordinator role. The coordinator role was filled last week with the hiring of long time NFL coach Bill Musgrave. Now, the Bears have filled in another open position on their offensive staff. This time, it is the offensive line.

Angus McClure was hired as the new O-line coach. He spent the last two years coaching the offensive line at Nevada. He also held the Assistant Head Coach title as well. McClure is most well known to Cal fans during his tenure with the UCLA Bruins. He spent 11 years with the Bruins coaching multiple positions, but was most known for his recruiting ability and his role as Recruiting Coordinator. McClure helped the Bruins maintain a yearly top 20 recruiting class over that span. His main recruiting assignments were Northern California and East Bay regions.
Welcome to Berkeley, Coach McClure!
