William and Mary OC Brennan Marion rumored to be interested in Cal OC position

Would be an under the radar hire

NCAA Football: William & Mary at Virginia Amber Searls-USA TODAY Sports

247 Sports is reporting that William and Mary Offensive Coordinator Brennan Marion is interested in the same position vacated by Beau Baldwin. The report says that sources have told 247 that he “interested in coming over to Berkeley.”

As for who can potentially replace Baldwin once his reported deal to Cal Poly is final, sources have told BearTerritory that William and Mary offensive coordinator Brennan Marion is interested in coming over to Berkeley.

Like Baldwin, Marion has ties to the FCS with engineering explosive offenses at Howard and his current stop W&M. He was the offensive coordinator behind Howard’s stunning 43-40 upset at UNLV, when the Bison entered as a 45-point underdog in what became college football’s biggest point-spread upset in history. The Bison went on to average 33.6 points per game under his watch.
