Halfway to bowl-eligibility and projections are looking favorable for the Bears.

Three games into the season and the California Golden Bears have three wins.

CBS Sports and 247 Sports are still super-low on the Bears, doubting our ability to find three wins in the next nine games despite Oregon State and UC L.A. on the schedule (or just running out of bowl spots). For what it’s worth, our two FBS victims—Washington and North Texas—are projected to go bowling according to these resources.

ESPN’s pair of prognosticators are in agreement this week, calling for us to play in the Las Vegas Bowl against the Boise State Broncos—Justin Wilcox’s former employer and the alma mater of Coaches Gerald Alexander and Andrew Browning.

Stadium’s Brett McMurphy has the highest expectations for Cal, projecting us to face Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines at the Holiday Bowl. Needless to say, we all remember our dear friend Harbaugh for his work at Stanfurd.
