Cal DT Brett Johnson named to Freshman All-American Third Team

Freshman DT Brett Johnson was named to the Pro Football Focus All-American Third Team.

The 6-foot-5, 285 pound defensive tackle took advantage of his opportunities given to him after impressing all through fall camp. Through 12 games, Johnson has notched 24 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. He is also credited with a fumble recovery during the North Texas game in week 3.
