Former California Golden Bears defensive lineman Luc Bequette has officially joined the Boston College Eagles football team, as announced by their current head coach Jeff Hafley.
Bequette was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA after he only played four games in his redshirt freshman season of 2016. He logged 42 career games with Cal and recorded 130 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.

He finished the 2019 season with a career-high 52 tackles and would have been an integral part of the Cal defensive line for the 2021, née 2020, football season, whenever that did take place.
Boston College and Bequette are scheduled to kick off their football season on Saturday, September 19 against Duke. It will air at 12:00 pm ET and airs on the ACC Network.
Bequette now stands as one of five transfers that Hafley brought in since his hiring in December in Chestnut Hill.
Go get ‘em, Luc! We know we’ll see you sporting an NFL jersey real soon anyways.
