The California Golden Bears recruiting class of 2021 got a big pick up over the past weekend, securing the services of the state of Oregon’s No. 4 ranked player in OLB Patrick Hisatake. Standing at 6’4, 240 pounds, Hisatake is as big of a pick up as he is physically and represents a top 50 OLB prospect for this class.
He had at least 20 other scholarship offers but pledged to head coach Justin Wilcox and the Cal coaching staff this past weekend.

Hisatake is also on roster for the Polynesian Bowl this season and chose Cal over several Pac-12 rivals including Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, UCLA and Utah as well as football blue blood Michigan, all who had offered.
He’s a huge get for the Bears as he is a versatile defender off the ball and can rush the passer well and drop back in coverage and stuff the run just as well.
We take a look at his highlights now, thanks to Hudl.
