The NFL released their 2010s All-Decade Team on Monday night, announcing their teams through the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Four Golden Bears were selected, tying the Pittsburgh Panthers with the most players selected from one university.

Aaron Rodgers, Marshawn Lynch, Alex Mack and Cameron Jordan were the Cal players selected for the NFL’s 55-member team consisting of 53 players and two coaches. They were selected based on the results from votes cast over several weeks by the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 48-member selection committee.

Eligible players consisted of those NFLers who were named to at least one Pro Bowl, AP All-Pro Team or Pro Football Writers Association all-conference team during the 2010-19 seasons.

Rodgers finished with the Pac-10’s top passing yards per pass attempt in his 2014, junior season, averaging 8.1 yards per pass attempt, also pacing the conference’s quarterbacks with a 66.1% completion percentage that year. He finished his Cal career with 5,469 passing yards and 43 touchdowns against just 13 interceptions. He was famously drafted with the 24th pick of the 2005 NFL Draft and sat behind Hall of Fame QB Brett Favre before taking the starting role in 2008, and as they say, the rest is history.

Lynch ran wild for the Bears, reaching 3,230 career rushing yards in three years. He also saw 600 yards through the air and scored 35 career touchdowns on offense from 2004-06. He was selected with the 12th pick in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft and played four seasons with the Buffalo Bills, six seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, two seasons with the Oakland Raiders and most recently, re-signed a one-year contract with Seattle to end the 2019 campaign.

Mack is widely considered the best center of the past decade in the NFL and that basically mirrors his Cal career. He was named the Pac-10 Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2008, a first-team All-American and won the Morris Trophy in his final season at Cal. This all came a year after he was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy in 2007. He was taken with the 21st pick in the 2009 NFL Draft and played seven years with the Cleveland Browns before joining the Atlanta Falcons in 2016, where he still currently plays.

Jordan played at Cal from 2007-10 and earned multiple honors including All-American and All-Pac-10 in his final season. He was on the finalist list for the Ted Hendricks Award and won the Cal Bear Backer Award as well as the Brick Muller Award on defense. He tore up the NFL combine and was selected in the first round with the 24th pick of the 2011 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. He has played every year since with the Saints, earning All-Pro honors in each of the last two seasons.
