Jeremiah Hunter is a 6’2, 178-pound receiver from Central East High School in Fresno, joining the Cal Golden Bears football team whenever they open practices back up.
Hunter is ranked as the 88th-best receiver of the 2020 recruiting cycle, a three-star composite and the 47th-best player in the state of California according to 247Sports. He had several offers including ones from Oregon, Arizona State and Oregon State in the Pac-12.
In our sports hiatus, his acrobatic, one-handed touchdown reception during his time in high school is still turning some heads, including that of his new quarterback Chase Garbers.
This catch still makes no sense! #TBT @Jdhunter_3

Yes, we agree with you MaxPreps, that does not make any sense.
And we’re not the only ones that agree, nor are flabbergasted.

Can’t you just feel the love between these two?
Here’s hoping it replicates on the field this fall.
Until we get more football back in our lives, we take a look at some of his high school highlights to get us hyped up.
