The NFL’s best route-runner will put his video game skills to test live on Twitch as Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen is set to be one of two NFL athletes to partake in the NBA crossover event hosted by the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns are live-streaming players as they match up on the virtual hardwood on NBA 2K20 and Allen will face off against former Baltimore Ravens safety Tony Jefferson. From their release on the matchup:
The Phoenix Suns will continue to give fans a virtual fix as the first NBA team to continue the 2019-20 season on NBA 2K20. During this unprecedented time, the Suns social media team developed an innovative opportunity to leverage their platforms to bring the basketball community together and drive a positive conversation in the social space. The Suns are continuing to explore additional opportunities to create compelling digital content and identify new ways for Suns fans to engage with their favorite team over the coming weeks.
Allen and Jefferson will meet in a one-of-a-kind matchup on Friday night. Jefferson is a Suns super fan, so you can bet the fans will be against Allen. Check it out and comment all over their channel to show our former Golden Bear some love!

Go Keenan!
P.S. If you think I’m just trying to get you in my good graces by calling Keenan Allen the best route-runner in the NFL, think again. Here is my article from last summer that detailed Allen as the league’s prototypical route runner.
Yeah, nothing’s changed there either.
