Week 5 vs Oregon: How to watch, open thread

Here’s how to watch the Ducks vs Golden Bears

NCAA Football: Stanford at California Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Your California Golden Bears are set to be in action against the Oregon Ducks today, and here’s how to watch.

The Bears are hosting the Ducks in a pivotal matchup for Oregon, but not so much Cal, who enters the fold at 0-3 to start the year. Cal, however, has certainly had their fair share of obstacles in their way this season, most notably a 48-hour window of getting to play UCLA to start the season and a blocked PAT giving Stanford a win in what feels like just yesterday due to the pain it caused.

The game versus Oregon is the final home game scheduled for the 2020 season and this marks the latest the Ducks and Bears have ever faced each other in a calendar year. Of course, there’s the other tie between the Ducks and Bears as current Cal head coach Justin Wilcox played safety and cornerback in Eugene from 1996-99.

Wilcox is joined by associate head coach Peter Sirmon and offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave as former Oregon players as well as Musgrave was inducted into the University of Oregon Hall of Fame in 2000.

Cal leads the all-time series with Oregon at 41-39-2.
