The California Golden Bears are back in action for one final game of the 2020 Pac-12 regular season, taking on the Washington State Cougars in a Pac-12 North matchup. The Bears are fresh off their first victory of the season, knocking off the Oregon Ducks a week prior.

The Cougars enter this matchup having lost their last outing versus the USC Trojans and giving up four touchdowns in the first quarter alone in a blowout loss.

True freshman quarterback Jayden de Laura has certainly had his moments in this shortened Pac-12 season but was off his game and the defense was suspect at times on the outside, leading to four first-quarter touchdowns to a single receiver for USC.

This game will mark the likely last game for multiple Cal Bears including longtime starters in Camryn Bynum and Jake Curhan, each of who entered the year with 39 consecutive starts under their belt. Bynum has started every game this season to increase his team-leading start streak to 43 while Curhan has two starts this year, giving him 41 in his career.
