Bynum tweeted his decision to return for the newly-announced 2020 season just under a month after announcing he was headed for the 2021 NFL Draft.
Cal’s football account verified the fact that Bynum is indeed coming back.

Big news for the Cal Bears — even bigger news for the six quarterbacks currently on the schedule to play Bynum and Cal.
For the past three seasons, from 2017-2019, Bynum has led the Cal defense in both pass breakups and passes defended. That speaks volumes to the players he’s played with in the Cal secondary.
He’s a certain top draft pick when the time comes to it — but until then — he’ll be plaguing Pac-12 QBs for seven more games this fall.
Welcome back, Cam!
