Cal HC Justin Wilcox just announced at the Media Availability that TE McCallan Castles has left the program.

Castles was one of 4-star prospects in the 2018 class and is from Lake Tahoe, California.
The redshirt freshman TE McCallan Castles played in the first 2 games. He was targeted several times but recorded no catches. Cal will now have to turn to a host of other tight ends—Gavin Reinwald is likely the next man up, with others like Jake Tonges and Collin Moore likely to see more snaps as well.
We wish the best to him in the future!
