Few should be surprised to see Washington is favored heading into our game.

After the opening-weekend of games, Vegas has weighed in on next week’s game when the California Golden Bears play the Washington Huskies.

The over/under is set at 44 and—unsurprisingly—Washington is pretty heavily favored with Cal as 12-point underbears.

Here’s a little transitive property for you.

Yesterday, Washington at home beat Eastern Washington, 47–14. Yesterday, Cal at home beat UC Davis 27–13. Last year, Eastern Washington and UC Davis played each other twice—once in Big Sky play and once in the quarterfinals of the FCS Championship; Eastern Washington won 59–20 and 34–29.

Of course, Cal fans have beloved memories of beating then–no. 15 Washington 12–10 last year despite being massive underdogs. I, on the other hand, have no fond memories associated with Washington.
