Here are some of the key takeaways.
- No surprises on special teams. Greg Thomas remains the place kicker and Steven Coutts remains as the starting punter. Ashtyn Davis and Jeremiah Hawkins are the kick-off returners and Nikko Remigio is listed as the first string punt returner.
- Brett Johnson is listed as the second Nose Guard and looks to be a big role on the defensive line. He is only listed behind senior defensive tackle, Luc Bequette.
- No surprise as Kuony Deng is listed as Evan Weaver’s partner at ILB.
- The starting OL from LT to RT is: Will Craig, Matt Cindric, Mike Saffell, Valentino Daltoso, Jake Curhan.
- McCallan Castles is the starting TE.
- Nick Alftin, who just moved over to TE, is listed on the depth chart as the 5th TE.
- Ricky Walker III is listed as the starter at WR along side Jordan Duncan.
- The top 6 wide receivers are exactly who we expected to be. Duncan, Crawford, Young, Walker III, Polk, Clark.
- Christopher Brown Jr. is the clear cut starter at running back.
- Chase Garbers has won the starting QB job.
