Cal Football Fall Camp 2019: Notebook #6

Not much to write on today. Very relaxed day of walk-throughs and individual work. It was a practice that was back to the fundamentals and basics. There was a big emphasis on steps, location and positioning on the field.

There was some 7-on-7 work done to end practice.

• Garbers had the play of the period with a 40 yard dime to Nikko Remigio
• Ben Hawk Schrider read the Play-Action bootleg properly and chased down Garbers to the sideline
• One thing to note: Nick Alftin has moved over from LB to TE. OC Beau Baldwin said it was just a move for some opportunity for him. It was his first day at the position, we’ll see if he sticks to the position.
