Senior LB Evan Weaver continues to accumulate preseason honors. This week he was named to the preseason watchlists for the Dick Butkus Award, which honors the nation’s top linebacker, and the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which honors the nation’s top defensive player. As the nation’s leading returning tackler, Evan Weaver will be in the spotlight both on and off the field for the Bears this upcoming season.
