Former Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Guard Kareem South visited Cal this past weekend, according to reports. South would be a solid veteran addition to a young roster bringing some class balance. He would also bring some much needed outside shooting and scoring for the Bears to alleviate the losses of Justice Sueing and Darius McNeill. The grad transfer averaged 13.8 points per game this past season, while also adding an impressive 5.1 rebounds per game. His career shooting percentages are impressive as well. Shooting 41.5% from the field, 36.4% from 3 and 82.2% from the line in 102 games. He also attempted 100+ from beyond the arc in all his active seasons.
Cal hosted Texas A&M-Corpus Christi grad transfer Kareem South this past weekend. He told @Stadium he has a visit scheduled to Northwestern end of the month and is also considering Vanderbilt. Is expected to choose from those three.
