On his personal Twitter, Connor Vanover announced that after perusing his options in the transfer portal, he has decided to join Eric Musselman’s first-year squad of Arkansas Razorbacks with Musselman already lauding Vanover’s versatility.
Excited for the next step in my journey to help me grow and fulfill my dreams. I am grateful and blessed to have the opportunity be an Arkansas Razorback. I'm Coming Home!! WPS!! @RazorbackMBB @EricPMusselman pic.twitter.com/iZT34YRpci

Vanover is from Little Rock, so the decision makes sense. In his one year with the California Golden Bears, Vanover played in 26 games with 13 starts, averaging 16.4 minutes per game and developing late in the season as a reliable asset for Wyking Jones.
Last year, the Razorbacks went 18–16 (8–10 SEC), resulting in the firing of then–head coach Mike Anderson. Musselman joins with a head-coaching record of 110–138 in the NBA (43.9%) and 110–34 for the past four years with the Nevada Wolf Pack (76.4%).
Despite the move, Vanover left a classy message to the Cal family:
