Roman Davis is reportedly seeking to transfer

A third transfer for the Cal men’s basketball team.

NCAA Basketball: California at UCLA Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Less than two weeks ago—on March 22—it was revealed that Darius McNeill would be transferring.

Yesterday, reports came out that Justice Sueing would be transferring.

This morning, Evan Daniels (of 247 Sports and FS1) is reporting that Roman Davis has entered the transfer portal.

Wedged in between all of these transfers is the news that Wyking Jones would no longer coach the California Golden Bears (March 24) and the announcement that Mark Fox would be taking over (March 29). So it’s been a tough start for Fox.

Davis was a redshirt junior for the 2018–19 season, in which he played 16 games and averaged 1.1 points per game, 1.8 rebounds per game, and 6.8 minutes per game. Across his Cal career, he played in 56 games.

Good luck, Roman!
