The Bears made the cut for the final 3 alongside Wazzu and Nevada for Kuany Kuany. The 6-10 small forward hails from Melbourne, Australia. He is currently playing his basketball up north at Prolific Prep in Napa, California.

This seems to be the handiwork of newly minted assistant coach Chris Harriman, getting the Bears in on this 2019 prospect so late in the cycle.
Visited 6 cities in 3 different countries over the past 4 days..... back on another flight tonight! Such an honor to be part of this staff & represent the #1 Public University in the World! #ChasingFutureGoldenBears #Rippin&Runnin

A more indepth look at his tape will come in the next week or so. The initial evaluation from his highlight tape is that he’s long with solid vertical explosion and what looks like a solid shooting mechanic and motion. Kuany’s instincts on defense and offense are pretty good, it looks like he knows how to leverage the spacing and off-ball defensive movements to his advantage to get steals or to attack the basket on a cut. His speed and footwork need a lot of improving. At his size he’s going to need to be able to shoot with consistency over his defenders. That’ll be a huge point of emphasis for his offensive skill set.
