Per Parker, Charles Smith IV—a commit from the Class of 2019—has requested to be released from his letter of intent that he signed with Cal.
The Bears have lost several players already this year. Darius McNeill has decided to transfer to the SMU Mustangs to be closer to his family; Roman Davis, Juhwan Harris-Dyson, and Connor Vanover have all entered the transfer portal. As for some incoming players, reports this week indicate that Cal is currently talking to Jordan Brown and Max Hazzard about potentially transferring here.
