Johnson had spent the 2018 season at Fullerton College, where he put up over 500 yards and was an all-conference pick. Various writers at CGB expected Johnson to be an immediate benefit for the offense.
Given that Johnson had already signed a letter of intent with Cal, it is unclear if he will be immediately eligible at his next school in 2019.
