Men’s Basketball
- With the season starting on Tuesday, Cal MBB gets a big article in the San Francisco Chronicle.
“I don’t know if I’ve seen a change in them offensively, because when I first got here, they had no idea how we wanted to play,” said Fox, who was hired in March to replace Wyking Jones. “I don’t think I’ve seen a change defensively yet, because they had no idea how we wanted to play.
“Where I’ve seen a change is, they now have an understanding of how hard you have to work and the investment you have to make to have any chance to succeed. That was uncomfortable for them when I came. Now, it’s their new normal. Because now that it’s something they’re used to, I think that will give our offense and defense a chance to change.”
Football
- The bye week is over and its time to look at Washington State (who was also on a bye).
Women’s Basketball

Baseball
- Two Cal alums talk about the Mike Neu contract extension.
