Cal Football rumored to have scheduled Notre Dame for 2022

The Bears are being rumored to have scheduled Notre Dame for 2022. A recruiting informational packet sent to a potential recruit was posted Thursday morning and sent Cal Twitter into a frenzy. An official statement has yet to be announced and this would have been some great offseason news had the news not been leaked.

The Bears have an interesting out of conference schedule in the works for the next few years. In 2020, the Bears travel to UNLV while hosting TCU and Cal Poly. In 2021, Cal hosts Nevada and Sacramento State while traveling to TCU. In 2022, Bears host UC Davis and UNLV and now travel supposedly to Notre Dame. In 2023 The Bears go back to SEC opponents with Auburn coming to visit Berkeley and the return trip being hosted at Auburn in 2023.
