Non-Cal football open thread: Time for a senior-citizen skirmish as Colorado faces UC L.A.

The UC Los Angeles Bruins are taking on the Colorado Buffaloes in an AARP-off. UC L.A.’s punter (Wade Lees) is a whopping 31-years-old, but Colorado kicker James Stefanou edges him out at 32-years-old—they’re old enough to be fathers to some of their teammates.

And there’s an even older player elsewhere in the state of Colorado—Joshua Griffin is older by six months and plays for the Colorado State Rams, which means these two old-timers played each other to open the season.
