3rd Quarter

Cal 6th Defense Drive: Short kick by Cal. USC downs it at the 26. Carr carry only gets 2. Pass to Falo gets nothing. Another long pass on 3rd down gets 18 yards and the 1st down. Deep pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown gets 50 yards. Carr dropped for a loss by Kuony Deng. Slovis finds London for an 8 yard TD pass.

Scoring Drive: 6 plays, 74 yards, 2:49

Cal 7th Offense Drive: Modster on the rollout gets 9 yards with pass to Duncan. Collins runs up the middle for 7 yards and the 1st down. Modster is sacked for a loss of 7. Modster finds Dancy for 3. 3rd and 14, Looks to Duncan, but it’s way too far ahead of him. Coutts out to punt. Brown takes the punt and runs it back to the SC37.

Cal 7th Defense Drive: SC starts on own 37. He throws deep to Pittman for 45 yards to the Cal 18. Holding call brings the ball back, but SC gets it right back with a pass to Pittman. Slovis throws at the ref and the Bears get the stop. McGrath with the 32 yard FGA is good.

Cal 8th Offense Drive: Cal starts on own 25, Collins with the carry for 7. He runs for another 4 and the 1st down. Modster passes to Nikko for 7 yards. QB sneak gets another 1st down for the Bears. Modster looks to Nikko on the corner route, but just overthrows him. Super tough angle to try and make the catch as well. Modster pass on the rollout is tipped and intercepted. Greg Johnson takes the pass to the Cal 23.

Cal 8th Defense Drive: Pass to London is good for 14 yards. Quick pass gets another 6. Slovis throws it out of the endzone. Hicks called for the PI in the endzone on third down and SC gets the ball at the goal line and punches it in. A 1 yard TD run for Carr.

Scoring Drive: 4 plays, 23 yards, 1:35

Cal 9th Offense Drive: Modster scrambles for 7 yards then another 2. SC gets called for illegal substitution and Cal gets the first down. Modster throws to Duncan for a gain of 6. Another pass is too far wide, but Cal gets tagged for illegal receiver downfield. Modster’s pass gets tipped by his receiver Tonges. SC fumbled the ball back to Mettaur. Modster throws over the middle again and is almost picked off

4th Quarter

Cal 9th Offense Drive: Modster’s screen pass is incomplete. SC ran into the screen to blow it up. Modster takes off for a gain of 7. False start on 4th down forces Cal to punt instead of going for it.

Cal 10th Defense Drive: SC starts on own 26. Pass to London is good for 22. Turner upends him after London tried to hurdle him. Slovis finds Pittman for a gain of 32. Slovis finds Falo for the 5 yard TD pass.

Cal 10th Offense Drive: Cal starts on own 25. Collins runs for 16 yards. Then a PI call moves the ball to the 50 for the Bears. Modster then finds Tonges for 14 yards. Collins then takes off down the sideline for a 34 yard TD run.

Modster with another pass to Polk is good. Reinwald drops a 1st down pass. Modster overthrows Duncan and Cal punts.
