The California Golden Bears take on the Oregon Ducks tonight. It felt like the biggest game in program history this decade. It still might be, but the odds are stacked against Cal.
The Bears are coming off a disappointing loss at home to Arizona State, and will now face their stiffest test left on the schedule that still fosters mild hopes of a Playoff bid and real hopes at a Pac-12 championship. Devon Modster makes his debut at quarterback against probably the most complete defense in the Pac-12. The Cal defense will likely rally from their disappointing showing against Arizona State but now faces their toughest foe in the air in Justin Herbert. The Bears started the week as two touchdown underdogs and ended it at three.
All the odds are stacked against Cal. They pulled it off once in Seattle against Washington. Can they do the same this week?
