Cal Football Film Study: Utah’s O vs. Cal’s D

In this video, I look at how Utah’s offense used their quick passing game to cause problems for Cal’s favorite solutions in run defense. We’ll see how the Utes’ basic Zone running play works, and we’ll see how Cal likes to counter that kind of scheme. Finally, we’ll see how those defensive responses impacted Cal’s coverage, opening up things for a perimeter-based quick passing game.
