Cal flips a long time Fresno State Bulldogs commit Jaden Casey, a consensus 3* QB out of Calabasas, CA. Casey had been committed to Fresno for awhile, but Fresno recently acquired a Washington QB transfer named Jake, which is what likely made Jaden Casey renege on his original commitment to Fresno and flip to the California Golden Bears. Washington quarterbacks named Jake keep on giving to the Bears!
On top of the Fresno State offer he held offers from Alabama, Arkansas, ASU, Colorado, Oregon State, Utah, and Yale.
His Hudl highlights are below.
Casey becomes the second Cal quarterback commit in this class, joining dual-threat quarterback Zach Johnson from Newhall. The Bears have two very talented running backs in Chris Street and Damien Moore, two tight ends in Kaleo Bullangay and Jake Muller, and a ton of athletic skill players in Justin Baker, Casey Filkins, Jeremiah Hunter, Tommy Christakos and Aidan Lee.
Cal is starting to fill in their entire 2020 recruiting class. This is a very talented group of freshmen, and you can potentially see multiple skill players get significant reps next season.
Welcome to Cal!
