The bad news continues to get badder for the North Carolina Tar Heels.
At the beginning of the month, we learned that a dozen Tar Heels would be suspended over the course of the year due to selling merchandise (which may affect our team as well).
Earlier this week, DR Aaron Crawford suffered a knee injury in practice that some sources are reporting will result in four weeks of missed action. Crawford is a junior starter, considered an all-conference talent, and a leader for the defensive line. Against our California Golden Bears last year, Crawford was responsible for 5 tackles (2 of which were solo) and 1 quarterback hurry.
Although this should benefit Cal, let’s hope that the team doesn’t get cocky over this and take North Carolina lightly. It’s never come back to bite us in the ass when the fans assumed we’d have a win over a team facing huge personnel losses, right?
