OL/DL Ben Coleman commits to Cal

What a week it has been for Cal football recruiting. Just a few days after receiving two commitments the Bears have landed yet another commit in the form of two way lineman Ben Coleman.

Coleman holds over 20 offers including some from very well known schools like Florida, Nebraska, Oregon and Washington State. Coleman grades solidly as a three star lineman with good height and great size at 6’3, 300.

What is particularly interesting about Coleman is that the staff has been open to him playing on both sides of the football. The coaches apparently see him coming in as a defensive lineman and shifting him possibly as early as fall camp to the offensive side of the ball.
