Cal Baseball Twitter

  • Congratulations to Andrew Vaughn on being the first Cal Baseball player ever to get the National Player of the Year honors by Perfect Game/Rawlings (Separate from the Golden Spikes Award consideration). Now to get him a chance at a championship in 2019...
  • Tanner Dodson and Jonah Davis picked up some awards too. Dodson was named a third-team All American by and honorable mention All-American by Perfect Game, both at the utility position. Davis made the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region first team in Left Field.

  • Lakers confirmed on Twitter that Marcus Lee (among many other collegiate players) recently had a pre-draft workout at their facility. They interviewed him as well.
  • The Daily Cal writes about the three Cal WBB stars that are currently playing in the WNBA. (Unfortunately I didn’t make it to the Liberty game yesterday)

  • Trace Travers’ breakdown of the Cal Football roster continues with the players with numbers 65-76.
  • Mackenzie Feldman wasn’t able to play beach volleyball as she slid down the depth chart during her final two seasons, but she made a huge impact on UC Berkeley, notably getting the school to cut down their use of pesticides.
