While most of us are out celebrating the Warriors title, the Cal staff has been putting in work on the recruiting trail landing TWO commits today in Spencer Brasch and Brian Driscoll.
The aforementioned Brasch is a dual threat quarterback by the way of Arizona which by now should be referred to as Charlie Ragle territory. He held 14 offers at the time of his commitment from schools in the Pac-12 to schools in the Mountain West. Cal fans will love his size (6’4) and the fact that he is a threat both as a runner and a passer. Check out his Hudl tape below:
The second commit of the day came from Brian Driscoll, an offensive tackle out of Torrey Pines. Driscoll held 11 offers at the time of his commitment, three from Pac-12 rivals, and the other schools contained Ivy Leagues and top academic institutions. He is currently listed at 6’4, 280 which should bring Cal another strong lineman to compete against the bigger body schools in LA. Scope out his junior year tape below:
Both recruits grade out as solid three stars and it will be interesting to see how they progress in their respective senior seasons.
