3* SS/FS/OLB Ryan Puskas Commits to Cal

Hours after his teammate Croteau, Puskas commits to Cal

In one day Cal nabs both players out of Peoria, Arizona. Though lower ranked by Rivals than his DE/OLB teammate, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding this DB recruit. Coach Charlie Ragle has been cited as the key recruiter for the pair.

Rivals has Puskas as a Safety and ranked him as the state’s 15th overall recruit. He holds offers from Army and Memphis.

247 has him marked as an OLB and Arizona’s 25th overall recruit, 102nd OLB nationally.

Fun fact: Puskas is also the last name of one of the greatest soccer players in history: Ferenc Puskas who boasts a career goal to appearance ratio of 1:1.
