Mychal Kendricks is a Super Bowl Champion and the long list of Cal’s SB involvement

Cal has had plenty of involvement in the past 18 Super Bowls.

Congratulations to Mychal Kendricks for helping lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, making him the newest Super Bowl Champion to come from Cal!

And congrats to Bryce Treggs, who’s a member of the Eagles’ practice squad!

(Totally wanted to use the following image as the lead picture.)

Cal has actually been heavily involved in the Super Bowl in recent years, with at least one representative on at least one of the teams for the past five games; Cal has had some involvement in 17 of the past 18 games, resulting in arguably 12 rings (assuming Treggs gets a ring this year as a member of the practice squad). Treggs has weighed in with his thoughts on a ring.

Here’s a full list of our involvement over the past 18 games. Maybe “full”. Hopefully I didn’t miss someone.
