Vegas favors USC by 5.5 points over Cal

Cal is still the underdog against the weakest USC team in some time.

The almighty Vegas has spoken and declared that the California Golden Bears will be 5.5-point underdogs to the USC Trojans.

It feels like it’s been 47 years since Cal last defeated USC. The last time we didn’t lose to them was in 2005, thanks to Reggie Bush and the NCAA refusing to pay players. We last beat them came in 2003 in triple overtime with the arm of some dude named Rodger Aaronstein or something.

This is the most-vulnerable the Trojans have looked in awhile (although we’ve said that several times in recent history to no avail). Let’s hope the Bears show up ready for a fight and get this monkey off our backs.
