Cal MBB Insta-Recap: Cal drops second game in Brooklyn, 59-76

1ST HALF

The Bears came out of the game sluggish, but gathered themselves through the play of the freshman. Paris Austin left the game with 3 fouls, which allowed the freshman and sophomores to play a bit more free flowing since they did not have a point guard on the floor. Darius McNeill and Jacobi Gordon led the scoring with 8 each. Both also were 2-2 from beyond the arc.

2ND HALF

The Bears could not close the gap to closer than 7 the entire half. Giving up offensive rebounds, open lay-ups and backdoor alley-oops hurt any run the Bears made on the offensive end.
