The Bears piloted a rocket out of the gate. The team’s shooting percentage, 3PT percentage and Free Throw percentage was ridiculous. The Bears were 57.1% (16-28) from the field, 60% (6-10) from 3 and 83.3% (10-12) from the line. Darius McNeill and Justice Sueing led the scoring with 11 a piece. Paris Austin dished out 4 assists along with 10 points on 4-9 shooting. Andre Kelly cleaned up the boards with 5 in the first half.
The Bears struggled in the second half, but did just enough to maintain the lead. The Offense became lackadaisical, the defense gave up too many layups and offensive rebounds. The team still managed to secure a double digit victory. 4 of the 5 starters scored in double digits and was led by Paris Austin who had 20 points on 7-17 shooting with 6 assists. Justice Sueing had 17 on 4-7 shooting along with 8/10 from the free throw line. Andre Kelly played a very efficient game with 17 points on 6-7 shooting with 7 rebounds.
