Cal vs. Oregon State, Q3 livethread: After dominant 1st half, Bears lead 21-0

OSU QB Cory Blount left the field after a targeting hit by Cal DB Jaylin Hawkins just before the half.

Golden Bears may have an offense again! Chase Garbers and the Bears look great in scoring 3 touchdowns in the first half. Patrick Laird has one by air and another one by land.

Bears did have one turnover via a bad snap (right after Brandon McIlwain came in for one successful play) but also got one back via the Traveon Beck interception.

First half ended with Jaylin Hawkins being called for a targeting hit that knocked OSU QB Conor Blount out. Beavers also did not start their star running back Jermar Jefferson due to injury. Jefferson is playing after the first few drives, but it may be too late for Oregon State.
