Mansfield defensive Back Miles Williams took a 24-6 loss to DeSoto, one of the top-ranked teams in Texas, to slip to 1-5.

Offensive lineman McKade Mettauer and The Woodlands defeated Klein 23-7 and have now won five consecutive games after an 0-2 start.

Linebacker Orin Patu and Rainier Beach slipped to 3-4 after a 35-24 loss to O’Dea.

Curley Young Jr., linebacker for Hendrickson, saw his squad drop to 4-2 after a tough 28-21 loss to Cedar Ridge.

Livermore and tight end Bradley Archer are back at .500 this season after a 34-7 victory over Dougherty Valley.

Defensive tackle Brett Johnson and Desert Vista improved to 7-1 this season with a 66-23 victory over Boulder Creek.
