Just when we thought we were out of the coaching carousel, we get pulled back in.
Beau Baldwin is reportedly one of the names being circulated for the now vacant Arizona Wildcats coaching position.
Said this earlier, but Cal Offensive Coordinator Beau Baldwin has emerged as a legitimate option for Arizona's Head Coaching Vacancy.

Mentioned Beau Baldwin on our message boards a few nights ago in connection to the Arizona job, but here are some updated thoughts on the Cal OC and the Wildcats —https://t.co/i8F5eaBDd3 pic.twitter.com/rjk7ik8ddQ

We’ve been here before. Oregon State recently seemed to have Baldwin on their scopes as their next head coach. There were even reports during the UCLA game that he had been hired. But the Beavers went in another direction and picked Washington offensive coordinator Jonathan Smith.
Arizona is in a tough spot, having fired Rich Rodriguez about the same time as Cal fired Sonny Dykes last season. Luckily for Cal, they had their candidate in mind and got Justin Wilcox onboard at just the right moment for them.
Arizona appears to be in more of an emergency mindset right now given the nature of the allegations that Rodriguez is facing. I could see the Wildcats being aggressive and taking a gamble on someone they’re not sure of.
